We will certainly visit this restaurant again when in the area. This was a wonderful dinner, the waitstaff was informative, friendly as well as attentive without being overbearing. The cake was outstanding, the cake was tasty and dense and it rested on a hazelnut cream. The cappuccino was less than average, but that was the only slight detriment to the entire dinner. It was accompanied by a decaf cappuccino. For dessert we shared a slice of oatmeal cake, something I had never heard of much less tried.

The black rice was slightly spiced which I enjoyed greatly, the vegetables were spiced which greatly enhanced their flavor and the shrimp/scallops were seared to perfection. The scampi was delicious while my dish was outstanding. For dinner the DW selected shrimp scampi over angel hair while I had the Thai shrimp and scallops curry dish that also had Asian spiced vegetables.

I selected a “easy drinking” lager, which was very good while the DW had a glass of a New Zealand Chardonnay which she enjoyed. The wine selection was more than adequate as was the choice of draft or bottled beer. Our waitress and her assistant introduced themselves while providing the menus. We had made a reservation, and were quickly seated upon our arrival. Although we have visited the Clayton area in the past, this was our first time eating at this establishment and the visit was based on the reviews on this website.
